5 /5 John Oliver: Joe DiMattio’s Anytime Fitness is a great place to train. My son gave me three weekly one hour sessions with Joe as a birthday present three years ago. I loved how I felt after each session and have rarely missed a week since then. Joe designed a program of first three and then four extra sessions that I complete on my own each week to completely train different parts of my body so that I get a comprehensive workout each week. I am 72 and have more lean muscle than most thirty year olds. I am stronger now than I was forty years ago. As evidence of this I offer the fact that when I began training with Joe I could not do even one pull-up. I now include as part of my weekly routine FOUR SETS OF TEN (I could not do this when I was in high school). Joe is a great person. At our weekly sessions he helps me make further progress toward my goals all while holding an engaging conversation about just about anything. The gym is always kept clean, and has a bright and inviting appearance. The staff is friendly and always working to make each person’s experience a good one. The equipment is always kept clean and in meticulously good repair and includes free weights, kettle balls, a sled, stuff for body weight and floor exercise, lots of cardio machines and more cable & weight machines than you can imagine. You can come in any time you choose, and even at peak times it is not crowded like most gyms. I really enjoy my workouts and cannot say enough good things about Joe and his gym.
