1 /5 Marcus Doornbos: If zero or negative stars were an option, I’d be handing out debt. I took a short break for bicep surgery and came back to what feels like a low-budget frat house: all sales dude-bro energy, no actual customer service. The vibe went from community gym to “let’s see how fast we can annoy you into canceling.”
After six years of paying for 24/7 access to any Family Fitness, it was the Fruitport location and Zeke’s total lack of professionalism that sealed it. Membership canceled on the spot. And here’s the part they clearly don’t get: maybe try being aware of who you’re talking to before you treat people like disposable revenue. Not a great business model to blow off a someone who works with student athletes and has some influence over where they train.
I’ll be telling people to steer clear. The only thing that ever made this place worth staying were the staff at Alpine and 4 Mile, and even they can’t justify giving another dollar to a gym model this clueless.
