The focus on discipline and character development is inspiring, and the instructors do a great job of teaching both martial arts skills and important values. The Grandmaster is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about teaching, he makes sure everbody is learning and not just there he pays attention and he truly cares about his students making it more of a family, he makes sure that everybody there treats eachother with respect and work as a team making every class informative and extremely motivating. Overall, its a place where you can grow both physically and personally. I truly see myself there in the future, highly recommend

Samone Rieberger: Just joined! What a wonderful owner who is the only woman-owned gym franchisee for Powerhouse in MI! She helped me and another friend join using our BCBS we did not even know we had through a cool program. Nice staff and great equipment and a very clean area. Plenty of free weights and equipment and you can wear a mask or not. Seems like a neighborhood feel as everyone seems to know each other. If you are a woman and want to support a woman-owned gym or just an ally to women, it would be so cool if you could support this gym and the owner by joining and tell others about it. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and fix a small mess we had when we joined another gym. Wonderful owner, epic gym. Join!

Autumn Davis: Ive always been intimidated by the "smaller" gyms, no that this gym is even very small. But I feel right at home here. Garry gave me so much motivation to get back into working out 2 years ago. I went through some heavy stuff in my personal life, so I quit working out. I got to a point recently where I was ready to get myself back healthy and happy. And Garry was definitely one of my go to people to achieve my goal. I signed up to train with him and its been pretty great! I feel a lot better and hes a really good trainer. He will push you but its something I need. I highly recommend Xtreme fitness!!!

Gina Fletcher: The community is one of the things I really like about Platoon. Small, people focused. Not just bodies on machines watching tv. They train all kinds of people. I see kids like 8-10 all the way to people in their 80s+. I met one lady in her 70s doing strict pullups!! Everyone talks to everyone. You hear encouragement. They share information. Crossfit has really evolved from what we think of as hard-core box jumping macho guys. At least this gym has. Yes, there are certainly some very fit people doing very high-level movements. But they are encouraging, helpful and not intimidating. The focus is on lifelong functional fitness, injury healing and prevention. Mike, the owner, is an all-around good human being who really cares about helping people gain and improve their health.
