Karen Mon: Breathe Yoga has an all around offering of energy work, yoga classes , products for an integrative approach, and a focus on well being. Reflexology is rarely offered at other studios and after one treatment I can see it fitting in w an overall plan for better health. The Wed mid afternoon yoga class provides gentle yoga, reiki and meditation that help better focus on what your working towards. That ambience and foundation of salt through out the studio grounds the higher level energy work with the foundational benefit of Himalayan salt provided in an amazing created space. Anytime Fitness - Troy
Hannselthill Castillo: Came to the gym for about 2 years. Had to cancel because I needed a membership that includes free guests. But the equipment is well maintained. And the 24 hour access is very convenient for night owls. I also had no problems with the cancellation process after honoring the 1 year contract.
Life Time - Troy
Life Time
Megan Landry: I’ve been a member for about 9 months now. It’s a great gym. I mostly take group exercise classes and love the instructors. When I do use the gym equipment I never have an issue waiting for a machine. Sometimes the free weight area gets crowded. The locker room is clean and has all the amenities you need. Front desk staff are friendly. But I especially love Lifetime for the kids academy; it’s huge. My previous gym had a tiny room for kids. At lifetime there are lots of options for the kids to play. We’ve also done swim lessons and the instructors are knowledgeable.
Club Studio - Troy
Mitchell Sokol: Overall it’s a solid gym. I’ve been going for 2-3 months now. Good class selection, brand new equipment, and a good atmosphere to the place. The showers are very sketchy however (bugs/grimy/old). The sauna is nice when it’s working, but since joining it’s been shut down a few times particularly on weekends. Not a huge deal but inconvenient when that’s the time most people choose to go. If they updated the showers to be clean and functional that’d be a big lift. This place is way too expensive to not have clean spaces 24/7. There’s rumors they’re going to take away the basketball court and make it into something else. That would be a big mistake as there’s an ample amount of people who utilize the basketball court on a daily basis. They’d be better off covering the pickleball courts so they can be utilized during the wintertime, we do live in Michigan after all right? Maybe it was a zoning issue or something but that seemed silly to me and a missed opportunity.
High Caliber Strength & Fitness Troy - Troy
High Caliber Strength & Fitness Troy
Emily R: I joined High Cal in November 2024 and had very little CrossFit experience, so I was a little anxious about doing something new. However, the team at High Cal is amazing and eased all of my concerns upon my first class. All of the coaches at High Cal are amazing: patient, kind, encouraging, everything you could want in a coach at a new-to-you gym. The facility is huge and has some great amenities (sauna, cold plunge, on-site PT, and more), along with specialty classes like Olympic lifting. All of the members are so welcoming and friendly; they do not hesitate to make you feel like you are part of the family. I cannot recommend this gym enough!
