5 /5 Nichole Laflamme: Copperstones off of M-59 in Waterford is hands down one of the best family-owned restaurants in the area. Every time I come in, it’s always buzzing with happy customers, and it’s easy to see why—their prices are beyond exceptional for the amount and quality of food you get. On top of that, their customer service is absolutely tip-top, and the entire place is spotless and organized.
I personally tried the corn chowder and couldn’t get enough—it was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also had the saganaki, which is a personal favorite of mine. To my surprise, Copperstones executes it at the same level as Pegasus or Greek Town classics. Not many places even have it on their menu, which makes it even more special.
For those who don’t know, Copperstones recently purchased the White Lake Dave & Amy’s location. That building is near and dear to my heart since my family used to go there every Sunday after church when I was a kid. Seeing Copperstones step in gives me a lot of hope for a strong comeback in White Lake. Leadership starts at the top, and from what I’ve seen of their values and commitment, I’m excited to see what they’ll bring to our community.
I’ll definitely be back soon—there are at least a dozen more of my favorite foods on the menu, and next time I might just treat it buffet-style because everything looks so good. If you’re looking for quality food, warm service, and unbeatable value, Copperstones is the place to be.
