3 /5 Ted Markowski: Ordered nachos And chicken dumpling stew. Service and atmosphere were good. The nachos were excellent and was among the best that we have had.. The stew was unfortunately exceptionally bad. The stew was extremely thick and sticky. I stood a spoon upright in the stew. It remained upright and unmoving the last minutes of our stay. No dumpling either cut or dropped was detected inside the bowl. The flavor was mediocre. My guess is the stew was reheated too frequently thus breaking down the dumplings, vegetables and chicken . If the stew was made that day then I have no idea why it had that wallpaper paste consistency and taste. I did try three or four spoonfuls. I am sure that I’ll return and probably try the stew again. Other reviews indicate my experience was not typical.

2 /5 Jillian Wuestenberg: What started out as a great experience ended as our last time at a Hamlin Pub. I ordered the Michigan Harvest Salad which is always great, my son ordered a California Wrap and my husband ordered a Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich. Upon receiving our food, my husband immediately noticed his chicken was cooked to nearly a petrified state and missed the cheese he had requested. For the first time ever, he sent his food back and requested it be remade. When received back, it was burned, tough and rubbery and had black spots. When the server asked how it was, my husband was honest and told her it was the worst chicken sandwich he had ever eaten. She responded with, “oh.” And walked away. From there we tried to explain we understood this was not her fault, and she had been great. At that point, we were ignored from there on out. No drink refill, no acknowledgment, nothing. We went from Hamlin Pub faithfuls to never returning again. All over a situation that could’ve easily been resolved with simple customer service and proper line cooks.

3 /5 Hayley Calvo: Everything was lacking flavor and cold. It was nice and clean inside but the food was just missing something and the service didn’t make up for it. The dumpling soup had no dumplings or chicken (literally just thick sauce) and the meat on the bbq fries was dried out and crusty tasting and not enough toppings on it. Just disappointing.

5 /5 death gaming: Everything is amazing! Absolutely love the vibes. The prices are a little unclear, especially with their beers and alcohol but the food was great, our waitress was even better, everything was enjoyable just be prepared to spend a bit. 3 people dined and the bill was 136+30$ tip.

5 /5 Melissa Larkins: My boyfriend and I have gone there a few times on Thursday for their pizza deal. We went on a Monday and it was hoppin for their wing deal. Bartender (Alisha) was great and appreciative of us. It was busy yet she was working as efficiently as she could. Food was tasty as always.
