5 /5 Jailon Bostic: The catfish here is the best in town hands down I only know one other place with catfish like this and it’s no where near Kalamazoo also the workers are great one actually helped me get into my car when I was locked out and needed help and everyone there is always friendly yall gotta get there ASAP this that REAL SOUL FOOD

5 /5 Ora Stokes: My family and I truly enjoyed our meals from House of Soul! The catfish was fried perfectly, crispy, seasoned just right, and full of flavor. The vegetables and sides were also delicious, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. The prices were very reasonable, and the to-go packaging was neatly done and easy for travel. We will definitely be ordering from House of Soul again, thank you for a great experience!

5 /5 Akira CA: Top-tier soul food with quality unexpected in Michigan. The rib tips and side dishes were well-seasoned and prepared with care. Mac n cheese was phenomenal. Only improvement I could think of is that crab clusters are a bit too salty for me (but still, full of flavors).

4 /5 Christopher Michael: The catfish was great, crispy, but not dried out. Green beans were on point. Collard Greens could have used a bit more salt. Jerk Chicken was definitely good, but a bit wet. Customer service was great. I will definitely come back when I am in Kalamazoo again.

1 /5 Monique Riddle: Food was probably good when they prepared it 2 weeks ago. Showed up around 11 pm, they close at 2 am. Ordered 2 dinners to go based on photos and reviews on-line. I got the shrimp dinner and my husband ordered jerk chicken dinner. First, the food was lukewarm. The shrimp tasted like they poured it out the bag and microwaved it with butter ( picture showed fried) My fault for not asking. The jerk chicken had so much jerk rub on it, you couldn’t eat it ( too salty). The Mac n cheese was okay but it tasted old, like it was in the fridge for weeks. The only thing worth eating was the baked beans which tasted like Bush baked beans out the can which isn’t bad. Overall, very disappointed. Would give a negative star if it was possible. Wished I would’ve asked for my money back but I didn’t want the hassle. NEVER AGAIN!
