5 /5 Cora “Cora”: Today was my first visit, and I was surprisingly pleased. I’m not a salt person and was holding my breath; but everything was season perfectly. My tastebuds wanted beef; therefore, I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was delicious. I definitely will be making a second trip very soon.

3 /5 Brooklyn Smith: Wanna say I started eating here in 2022 and I’m sad to say it doesn’t taste the same. I ordered pot roast with Mac, dressing and greens. The dressing tastes like stove top , the macaroni and greens were extremely bland. Soul food is supposed to taste like it was made with love instead this meal reeked of shortcuts. This “comfort food” , left me beyond uncomfortable and unsatisfied .

5 /5 Nicc Slickity: I stop at Lape every time Im in Warren for a few days. They never disappoint. Today, I had the oxtails with greens and red beans&rice. The 7up pound cake was awesome. Service is always good, and you never wait too long
