Pickles & Rye Deli - West Bloomfield Township (MI)

5 /5 Jules C: Love this place! The food is both delicious and filling. Love the baskets of rye bread and plate of pickles you get for dining in. Their sandwiches are excellent and piled high, and they have a huge menu selection that also offers soups, breakfast, and salads. I ordered a bologna sandwich that had lots of layers of think sliced bologna and asked for a fried egg on top. Was more than enough and took home leftovers! The employees are always so welcome and friendly, and regularly check to make sure you are ok. Has a warm and friendly atmosphere!

5 /5 Alexis Brunette: My favorite deli! Cant go wrong with any sandwich, salad or my favorite mushroom barley soup. Went in for a turkey sandwich and had enough to make another sandwich for dinner with the leftovers!

5 /5 C Wilson: After running errands in the area, I found myself in the parking lot of Pickle & Rye Deli. I went in expecting a deli counter only. Its a sit down restaurant with a full menu! I was quickly seated and found fresh fall colored roses on each table. What a lovely surprise. The friendly server suggested the #1 and #5 as the most popular sandwiches, served with onion rings. I did not have the onion rings. I ordered the #5 with chicken noodle soup and cole slaw. Both sides arrived very quickly, along with unsweetened iced tea. Tea was served with paper straw. The cole slaw was perfectly fresh and absolutely delicious. Its not too gooey, soupy. The chicken noodle soup was good and hot. When the huge sandwich arrived with a half pickle, I immediately asked for a take away box. The corned beef, cole slaw, Russian dressing and Swissed cheese on double baked Rye. OMG! It tasted like home cooking, prepared with love. The corned beef was like butter. The leanest, most tender, flavorful sandwich. This hit the spot. Cant wait to go back and try breakfast! This place is a yes, yes!
