5 /5 Tina: Service is so good, or waitress was very sweet despite being the short staffed. The inside was so cute, it was like walking into a mini fancy hotel with the stained glass and gold metal bar decal. The food was hot and fresh. The waffles were my favorites and the chicken pot pie soup was filling and just perfect! I dont know why but i thought it was going to be an average old person diner, but it surprised me!!! This is definitely going to be my new favorite brunch place!!! Its decently priced and affordable with a good variety of food! A good classic breakfast diner thats clean, pretty, friendly, and affordable!!!! I normally take pictures of my food but I ate it all up so fast, I forgot to take pictures

4 /5 T: Russ’ restaurant is located on 28th St. just Passed Byron Center, Road in Wyoming, Michigan. The restaurant is extremely clean plenty of parking. I was seated right away plenty of Window’s space as well as booth tables available. There is an all you can eat salad bar, which is very nice plenty of salad options as well as soup. There are dessert,menus,as well as dessert to go. There are desserts to buy that are homemade that are very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for family, eating alone as well as a good reasonable meal.

4 /5 Tatted Topanga: Nothing too fancy and has the old diner feels. People here are super nice and it doesnt feel rushed like most places in GR. Time to sit and enjoy some simple food for a decent price. Plenty of parking and easy entrance. Breakfast ends at 11 but Ill have to come back and try a lunch here sometime ! Sara D was our waitress and she was spectacular.

4 /5 Drew Looyenga: You know, if youre looking to have a cup of coffee and a sandwich with onion rings, Russ is pretty great. The prices are dirt cheap compared to equivalent competitors in the same restaurant genre. Russ food is inoffensive and caters to the old Dutch crowd, but it is well executed and tasty if youre in the mood for family style diner type food. You can easily get solid food for two people and skate out of here for around 20 bucks.

2 /5 Rachel Rynbrandt: I dined at the Wyoming location on October 25, 2025 with several family members. We arrived at 5pm. We had 5 in our party & were seated right away as it wasnt busy yet. Our waitress came to the table right away & took our drink order. We ordered our food in a timely manner, two of us ate from the soup & salad bar, the other 3 ate from the menu which included a burger with chips, a bowl of chicken rice soup, & pick tow of cheese broccoli soup & turkey Reuben, 2 coffees, water & diet cokes. The onion rings came out as an appetizer not long after as well as the broccoli soup. Those of us who had the salad had no issue with the food. After the onion rings were brought out. We ended up waiting for the rest of the food that was ordered off the menu. There were tables around us that were seated after that had a different waitress & they received their food before us. The broccoli soup was luke warm & when the chicken soup was brought out we asked the waitress if it was hot & she told us she warmed it up in the microwave & it was steaming. It wasnt & was luke warm as well. We didnt ask to have it re-warmed as we felt it would take to long to get it back. The turkey Reuben didnt have that much turkey on it & we had to ask to have refills on the coffee, a new pot had to be made which took a long time. One person ordered a slice of coconut cream pie & didnt get it in a timely manner so we had do go up to out waitress in the kitchen to ask for it. One of the members of our party was facing the kitchen as well as the check out area. At times we couldnt see where our waitress was & other times she was up front by the checkout area. It wasnt busy while we were there & it took way too long to receive out meal & it seemed as if the food sat in the kitchen too long before it was brought out. At one point we had to tell our waitress that we needed our bill as we had to be somewhere at a specific time. As a former employee of Russ & regular patron, I was extremely disappointed with our service & the food that came from the kitchen. Weve always had great service & this was a first to be dissatisfied with our visit.
