5 /5 Ying T: The most authentic Japanese restaurant in town with top-notch food quality!
The sushi and sashimi are very fresh, the tempura has the perfect thin, crisp coating, and the shrimp inside was cooked perfectly—very tender, unlike many places where it’s over-fried and becomes chewy.
The service could be improved a bit: when we called, they told us there would be about a 30-minute wait. When we arrived, a table was available, but the waiter asked us to wait anyway. When I asked a different waiter, he seated us right away.
Also, we ordered two appetizers. The waitress brought them over together but only placed one on the table. We waited a long time for the second appetizer, and it didn’t arrive until we were almost done with our entrées.
Despite the minor service issues, the food was excellent. We will definitely go back and recommend this place!
