Shisho Palace - Canton Township (MI)

5 /5 Sayeed Shaikh: This is by far one of the best restaurants in Canton area or should I say in the US. Ive been eating from here since 2018 and my favorite thing is their mixed grill for 2. I love every single menu item from this restaurant and I wish they served stakes. Their lamb chops are very tasty, the fries are amazing and the garlic sauce is outstanding. The chicken shish tawook and the fried meat Kebbe hardly go wrong. This is coming from a very food lover who constantly travels and tries different cusine in the US and the Middle East.

5 /5 Jennifer Cox: This place is perfection from the interior to every item on the menu. What a secret gem I cannot believe the value and the quality of this food. Everyone’s always so nice. I’m literally in love thank you so much for existing my family loves you. You get so much food in this economy you can buy one meal and split it with somebody but this will last me for at least three days. The chicken is on point.

3 /5 Libby Wedesky: I came in with my boys for lunch, we were seated right away by the host, and he was also our server. He was super nice, and quick. We ordered hummus/pita, fattoush salad, chicken tenders/fries, rice and chicken shawarma sandwiches. I was a bit disappointed in the taste of the food to be honest. The pita was fluffy and puffy and airy and was delicious with the hummus and garlic sauce. The chicken tenders looked greasy and overcooked and my son only ate one. The fries were tasty as I tried one. The salad was doused in dressing (way too much) and I should have asked for it to be on the side. The rice was very good. The chicken shawarma sandwiches were mainly dark meat and looked like chopped chicken, it was unappetizing unfortunately. Also, the wrap was toasted so it crumbled when you bit in. Not what I hoped for when I came, but it was worth a try. As a side note, when you come inside the vestibule, be careful the door hits the chandelier, and moves it. It probably should be raised up so it doesn’t get hit.

2 /5 Muhammad Ahmad: Prices have gone up and portions+quality has gone down. I understand price hikes to keep up with times but reducing portion size is not justified. On top of that the Chicken shwarma we got from them did not seem fresh at all. It was cold and hard to chew. It seemed like a day old. Unacceptable. Similarly the deboned chicken quantity has decreased massively when the half deboned order is costing the same as full from couple years ago. We had been noticing the downward trend lately but with this last order and the food quality that we got seemed like a last straw. Looks like they have stopped caring. Close to $40 down the drain. Unfortunate because shisho was our go-to option when in pinch.
