1 /5 Just Me: My parents and I went for my mom’s birthday dinner. I ordered a burger. The menu said it came with French fries and onion curls. I ordered it well done, no onions thinking I would get meat and bun only. It came with soggy shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on it. Blood came out when I cut it. When I looked it was barely cooked (black and blue, no where near well.) The manager didn’t get the point the burger was terrible when he asked how it was and I shook my head no. I told him the toppings need to be listed on the menu because the tomato could have killed me. He said “oh sorry” and left. My mom ordered cream of asparagus soup with her dinner. It had tiny flakes of asparagus and it tasted weird. It tasted like a flower smells. When we asked what spice was in it, we were shocked they would put a flower spice in cream of asparagus soup. Neither parents steaks were cooked enough but we were so hungry, waiting 45 minutes for our meal, we ate what we could: potatoes, fries and asparagus. I think dad ate his steak anyway. The restaurant was really loud (the table next to us was really loud) then a jazz band started. We couldn’t hear each other speak so we left. Very disappointing meal. It wasn’t so great for dad’s birthday in December either. Due to my food allergies, I’ll never eat there again.
