1 /5 amy macksood: I have been shopping here for years and spend quite a bit of money but today was a horrible experience. I had a return of fragrance that had not been opened . When I bought the fragrance my cashier told me if the seal was not broken on the wrapper it could be returned. I brought back the fragrance thinking it could be returned. My cashier DAWN the supervisor. told me it could not be returned. I told her what the other cashier told me. She told me that they would’ve never said that because they are trained and no better. I had no reason to lie about it and honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was $30. I was ok with keeping it at that point But the cashier had to keep saying to me there was no way any of her employees would say that because they know better. I was treated to feel like a liar. It was very degrading. I was very calm and cool with her and told her I was not lying and did not appreciate her telling me I was a liar and it’s all she could keep saying is my employees did not tell you that. I then said I have no reason to lie to you. I didn’t even want my money back at that time. I just wanted her to stop making me feel like I was lying. For some reason, she just wanted to be rude and make me feel degraded in front of everyone. I work in a retail store and I would never treat a customer like this. I never once raised my voice and she just kept egging me on with saying her employees did not tell me this. It was like she wanted to maker mad. Your supervisor Dawn was very unprofessional. I had a couple other items to return and she then asked me if I had worn one of the body shapers , she was just not nice at all and was trying to shame me the entire time. I have been in retail for over 35 years. I know how to treat customers and make them feel welcome. I am by any means not a rude and hard person to get along with, but I was was very disrespected by Dawn .
Dawn seemed to want to keep egging me on as I was leaving. I politely told her to have a wonderful day and that she needed to learn customer service. It is a shame because I do love shopping at the store and probably go there 2 to 3 times a week. I do hope that you will give Dawn your supervisor a lesson in customer service. Dawn can do better. I am sure of it. We all have bad days as I assume Dawn was having one . I get it !
