Chelsie DeLong: I went to a tournament today at court one and the tournament organizer were cool, calm and collected. Everything felt really well organized from ball storage, court assignments and communication. I’m impressed!
    Anytime Fitness - East Lansing
Traci Ruiz: For being a smaller gym, it packs a lot of equipment. Convenient location and 24/7 hours. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 for all it has to offer, but a 1 out of 5 for cleanliness. The bathrooms are always trashed, floors, rugs, equipment, and interior dirty, and no cleaning rags yesterday to wipe equipment. The bad part is that there was an employee when I arrived who had gone home by the time I saw the bathrooms and the rags out. This should be a daily routine to check the gym before leaving. This was around dinner time, so I suspect the equipment wasn’t getting cleaned until staff returned the following day. Dirtiness has been an ongoing problem for the past 1.5-2 years, which is why I do not shower there, and I only use this gym when alternatives are closed. When new ownership recently took over, there have been numerous improvements to equipment, which is a positive, but the cleanliness is subpar at best. I would love to speak to the new owner and provide thanks for the improvements, as well as offer suggestions. It will take the owner being there for extended periods to get the gym to the level it should be. Holding a good thought…

Susan Dooley: Popped in while visiting Lansing. This gym is FANTASTIC! I was sent a text to confirm my first visit; given a tour when I arrived, and made to feel welcome. Morgan is a OUTSTANDING instructor who kept the energy high and cues on point. Great music, great workout. Overall - I rate this a 10/10 experience. I will be back!

Joseph DeLisle: I workout here. The price is nice but the equipment sucks, owners and managers dont wont replace dumbbells that are damaged. The treadmills are always out or broken they need replace all of them.
    Westside Community YMCA - Lansing

Jen Willett: Love their homeschool swim and gym program. My son took it for several years. He faced his fears, learned to swim and climb the rock wall. Instructors were awesome with the kids and kept them busy for 2 hours! Great exercise and parents could talk to each other or read while they waited. I got to know several homeschool moms that I didn’t already know or was able to get work done.

    T. Young PhD., RRT: Terrific gym!! Much larger than other PF locations. Rarely do I wait for a bench or machine. Always clean and well-lit. This location is closer to my workplace than another location, so come here after work to save drive-time and go to another location on weekends. My only suggestion is if there could be mirrors in the warm-up area.
Court One Athletic Clubs - Okemos
Aamir Baig: Front desk workers are very nice and ready to help. Man sitting in office was very rude and did not even bother to come out of his office to talk to me. On the membership pamphlet it says 6-18 pay 35 dollars a month and I am 18. When I went inside to enroll for a membership, the "manager" told me that you had to be a high school student who is 18 when it neither says that in the membership pamphlet in the club or on the website. The "manager" lied to me and told me that is what it says on the website, and when I called him out on his lie after going through the website, he told me that Court 1 is a private club and does not need my membership, and I was free to leave. SO, I am an 18 year old paying a 45 dollar membership when I should be paying 35. My friend is also an 18 year old, but he is paying 35 dollars a month membership, so I do not understand why they lied to me today when I went to make a membership. Also, when I asked to speak with the "manager" in his office because he would not get off his chair to speak with me face to face, I was told I could not go in there. Right after that, another person just walked in and sat in his office. I think there was a double standard because of my age. To reiterate, the front desk workers were very nice and cooperative, but the "manger" in the office was very rude and lied to me. Overall, I was not satisfied with the customer service that was provided to me today, and I would want some kind of explanation.
Girl on Fire Fitness - Lansing
Alicia Aldaco: Nikki is great!!! She makes me comfortable with being a first time person learning how to work out. She also checks on you daily to make sure you’re doing ok or give pointers on stretches that will help. I highly recommend working with her!!! Super friendly and an awesome teacher!! My experience has been super pleasant!!!

    The Training Factory - Okemos
Joshua Holder: The Training Factory is an excellent gym that covers all-around training needs. Having trained at many powerlifting gyms with high-level equipment such as Texas Power Bars, Rogue, and Eleiko, I can confidently say the Training Factory provides access to all of these top-tier names. The environment is welcoming allowing members to train however they prefer without judgment. The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and organized, which makes every session more enjoyable. Management is also attentive and dependable, ensuring the gym runs smoothly.
