    Jemma Sheree: Absolutely LOVE this gym and all the coaches. They meet you at whatever fitness level you’re at and help tailor all the workouts while you’re there. We did the nutrition program too and my husband and I have had great success. Worth the investment! Recommend for anyone who really needs help/support getting started into a fitness program.

She tailors each session to my specific goals and has helped me not only get stronger but also gain confidence in my abilities. The facility itself is fantastic. The equipment is top-notch, and everything is always impeccably clean and well-maintained. The 24/7 access is a game-changer, making it easy to fit my workouts into a busy schedule. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter, you’ll find everything you need here to take your training to the next level. What really makes Black Mamba Barbell special, though, is the supportive and inclusive community that Sam has fostered. She genuinely cares about her clients and creates an environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged. I’ve learned so much about proper technique, nutrition, and how to set realistic, sustainable fitness goals—all thanks to Sam’s guidance. She also has AMAZING music taste and when we have the gym by ourselves we jam out to some super heavy stuff, which is a great personal touch. ;) If you’re serious about improving your strength and overall fitness, I can’t recommend Black Mamba Barbell enough. Training with Sam has been a life-changing experience, and I’m so grateful to have found this gym. Five stars just don’t feel like enough!!!

    Brenda Loveday: MECA Royal Oak is amazing. Great environment, positive vibe, and the best trainers. Isaiah has been helping my daughter come back from an illness that took her away from her sport for 9 weeks. Brian has been great at teaching her about proper nutrition and sleep also. She has bounced back quickly and feels stronger than ever and feels less likely to get injured. Shes excited to see what the next phase of the program brings. Highly recommended for anyone, especially elite athletes. My daughter looks forward to going to her workouts...that says it all.

    Renee Lange: Madison was extremely welcoming upon my arrival. She made me feel at home and excited for the upcoming class. She went through the stations and what would be required at each in a thorough and clear manner, while demonstrating throughout. While at the stations, Madison was encouraging and quick to provide assistance and direction along the way. Madison took time to help me remember the sequence of the tasks and to assist me in working through the routine with proper form. I would absolutely love to return to Peach Lab again. Great workout and wonderful experience.

    Chelsea Conroy-Sisk: This studio will feel like your home away from home. Diana is warm, kind and extremely knowledgeable. As I’ve moved through multiple spinal surgeries- she has been there every step of the way helping me rehab and find my groove again. Her classes are challenging and will completely transform your body. She has my business for life!

    Caitlin Baetens: Ive been going to this Body of Learning consistently for a few months now and I can honestly say its by far the best gym Ive ever been to. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his business, which makes the experience at BOL that much better. He always provides great workouts, while motivating his clients to perform at their best. If youre looking for a fun and challenging workout that produces results -- give this place a try!!

    Private Account: Weight pit js always super crowded, forget about picking up a pair of dumbbells or using one of the smth machines, always occupied, and As other reviews have mentioned, LOTS of cell phone usage. You see more people playing on their phones and just sitting on the machines than actually working out here, which is frustrating when you want to use a particular machine but it’s occupied by someone scrolling on their phone for minutes at a time. There are signs, but staff members don’t ever seem to actually enforce them. I’ve also seen people “save” machines, i.e. putting their phone/water bottle at one machine, while using one directly next to it. I don’t think that’s fair. Otherwise, decent location. It gets busy though, and sometimes the parking lot fills up, especially in the beginning of the week.

    Naman Mandhan: Over the past 8 years, I’ve tried or been a member at several different gyms in the metro Detroit area, and I can say with 100% certainty that Stomping Grounds has been my favorite one so far. The classes are well designed and cater to folks with a wide array of experience and fitness levels. Not only do they offer a great workout, but they are genuinely fun to attend and offer a sense of community that I haven’t ever witnessed in a gym before. Scotty and his team take the utmost care to ensure that their clients are working out in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment, while still making sure that we’re getting the results we seek for our fitness. I’ve been lifting weights and regularly going to the gym for over 15 years, and I have never felt stronger and healthier than I do after I started going to Stomping Grounds. It feels like everyone in the class is my biggest cheerleader, and I have made friends here who continue to push me to be a healthier version of myself everyday. Scotty and his crew are building something magical here - and I’m glad that I get to be a part of it.
