The FIIT 35 class has a super flexible schedule, allowing me to get in more often, and I am seeing amazing results! I also love that I can work out while my daughter does dance classes in the same facility. I highly recommend Mid American Fitness!

5 /5 Johnluke Sabile: Ever since I fell in love with so many small businesses in the Metro Detroit area, this past September I spent a bit of time looking for a fitness studio that offers hybrid (virtual and in-person Live) classes. One of them I found was Mid American Fitness. I EASILY fell in love with the studio despite living a half day drive away! *FYI: A drive from my hometown in the Hudson Valley or from Stony Brook University is 12+ hours away from the studio.* So for obvious reasons, I have just been joining virtually. My first ever class was with Ericka, one of my favorite instructors. I heard she’s had so many years of experience, which I truly love and appreciate. I exposed myself to so many new workouts I’ve never tried before. Stony Brook University’s Recreation Center has all the equipment I need so I can follow along with the in-person people. I’m very happy that I never had to pay extra money just to buy my own equipment. I’m also super happy that Mid American Fit continues to offer virtual spots even now, since the first few weeks of the pandemic and I only started joining this past fall. My only complaint is that Stony has very strict mask mandates inside the Rec Center, which may sometimes prevent me from fully following along. Other than that, I LOVE all the instructors and everything about Mid American Fitness itself so much!

I love the atmosphere, professionalism and studio cleanliness. Karen the owner listens and goes the extra mile to assure her clients are happy and satisfied. I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. Adriana Francavilla: I love going to Barre 3! I went a number of times when it was TBC but I love it even more now and have had my unlimited membership with them since April. It was the perfect way to prep for my wedding! Each class is a great workout (& a good sweat!) it’s an amazing community of women & I couldn’t be happier with my experiences there. I always look forward to each class! Highly recommend :)

Mr Gibbs: I’ve been going to this gym for about 4 years now and I gotta say, I don’t really have problems with it. One thing I really do recommend is getting heavier dumbbells. I’ve been to other planet fitness areas and their dumbbell weights go up to 95lbs which is actually awesome. It’s hard for me to get a heavy set in with dumbbell presses,/incline presses here in garden city. Most of my friends agree with me as well for this location to get heavier dumbbells. Other than that, it’s an amazing gym over here!

E Keisha “Keisha”: This pole dance studio is awesome. I don’t know how many instructors there are. I have met 3 and they all have very different styles. However, they are all very talented in their craft. Very nice instructors that really take the time not only to teach you the basics but to explain the moves. No matter how many students are in the class. They make an effort to walk around and help each student. The website is very helpful and easy to navigate. They have a wide range of classes and levels. Classes fill quickly. The studio is always clean and they start on time. The music is always on point and the time go fast. You can also email them and they email back promptly. You won’t be disappointed with choosing this studio.

Sherri Lynn Jones: This place is pretty mid. I tried it for a month but the coach I got played terrible 90’s pop or 90’s rock. Felt like I was at an old ladies YMCA class. I wouldn’t recommend for the under 30 crowd.
