5 /5 Ron Reed: This is my favorite place anywhere to do hot yoga. The studio walls are concrete with a ceiling that is about 20 ft. high with heaters running throughout the studio, which is perfect. The studio stays very hot (sometimes a little too hot, which is worse than the alternative). All the instructors Ive had are great and focused on yoga without music...YAY! Well, mostly,without music. There is usually street parking in addition to the small lot next to the studio. Reminder that street parking is free in Sunday in Detroit.

5 /5 Kimberly John: This place is for EVERYBODY! Yes, Bikram yoga is hot and super hard, but the people here at this studio make it worth the struggle. I have been welcomed with consistent kindness, great explanations, and solid tips that make each pose both aspirational and approachable at the same time. Shoutout to Jennifer especially for her excellent guidance. But honestly all of the teachers are really great. You won’t regret coming here.

5 /5 earl gerald carlos: Long time on and off yogi here. I’ve been a consistent member the last several months and I’ll have to say that Midtown Yoga has become a home. My wife and I are both members and we have been able to integrate this practice smoothly into our busy lives due to their many available classes 7 days a week. Their facility is big, with a large studio, showers and lockers in the restrooms. It’s mostly a hot hatha (bikram) yoga studio with some Pilates classes. I hope that it stays that way!

Bill Thompson: I work out at this gym. The facility is very large and roomy. There are duplicate machines so there is very short wait time if the machines are in use. There are free weights with pulley machines and stand alone benches for the more serious lifters and two rows of single use machines called isolation machines for a total body workout. Numerous treadmills and stair climbers as well as elliptical machines, stationary bikes. Too many to list. There are seperate spacious locker rooms, one for the men and one for the ladies. Showers are available. The locker room for the men is very neat and well kept. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This location has tanning beds for those who are VIP members which cost extra. I highly recommend this gym to anyone from the serious gym rat to the beginners. Have to start somewhere.

Andrea Smith: 6 months and and a price increase later, STILL no locker rooms. Absolutely ridiculous. Either lower your prices temporarily or wait to transition spaces until you have all your ducks in a row.

As a bigger individual its one of the better gyms Ive been to and being comfortable at. The crowd of people who go here are also very nice, respectful, and do not pressure you to speed up your workout process if they want to use the machine.

The staff/owners are super friendly and have created a welcoming environment, the facilities are clean, there is a wide variety of machines, free weights, barbells, etc, and it is super affordable in a great location close to downtown! Highly recommend checking this gym out :)
