5 /5 Mo Malik: MPACT Fitness is fantastic. Its a very welcoming and supportive environment. I also think it’s by far the best gym for complete beginners, people with injuries, or those who have really let their fitness lapse.
Mark is the owner of the gym. You meet with him when you first start to briefly discuss your history and goals. He does an InBody scan. This scan is almost as accurate as a DEXA scan and provides your lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, and many other metrics. You then repeat the same scan quarterly to track your progress.
My trainer is Cody, and he’s been great. I’m signed up for semi-private sessions. The scheduling is extremely flexible—I work different hours every day, and Cody has been able to accommodate my schedule. When you sign up for semi-private sessions, you also get access to the group classes they offer. In my case, I have a gym at home, so Cody developed some workouts for me using the equipment I have there. I like having the option to go to classes, but since I built a home gym Ive been supplementing my private sessions with the home gym work outs he came up with for me. If it wasnt for that Id go to 2-3 classes per week in addition to my semi-private session. When I am at the gym, Cody ensures my form is perfect and pushes me just to the edge—but never to the point where anything feels dangerous. Whats good about this gym is that the work out is tailored to your specific goals and needs, so whether you can only bench press the bar or are an olympic weight lifter...Cody will find the perfect weight for you.
I would highly recommend MPACT to motivated individuals who want to take their fitness and health seriously.
