5 /5 Matthew Hiipakka: Decent gym for equipment. Too much cardio though. However they’ve always got some cool cars, so it’s not really a problem.

5 /5 Paul Ellinger: I go to a lot of Planet Fitness locations around the country and this is by far the most impressive. It is huge, has every new innovation (including ergonomic tanning beds rather than flat glass), super clean, lots of machines coupled with lots of open space for stretching and body weight activities. A super full 5 stars! And Derrin, you were great at the front desk. :)

2 /5 R: Tried this location out of convenience and the equipment was so old it felt dangerous. All the tension curves felt so off like I was going to injure myself. The smith machines are the terrible vertical version that feels totally unnatural. Also there are only a few mirrors here. I need to visualize myself to ensure I am in proper form. Obviously Planet Fitness isn’t the place to go if you are actually interested in weight lifting. But usually they’re serviceable. (Plymouth, Livonia, Northville) However, this one felt like a total hotel complimentary gym. I know this location has to be pretty profitable. Please invest more into the mirrors, lighting, and strength equipment.

5 /5 Luke Denzer: Long overdue to write this review, I have been a member at this location for a little over two years and have worked out at various gyms in the area – I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at this location. They are friendly, kind, hard-working, and overall just amazing people. They keep the facility clean at all times and do their best to appropriately manage other members who do not respect the space and the clearly written rules. It will be impossible to name them all, but Doug, Angel, Chris, Jake, Kevin and many more are truly amazing people and keep me coming back. As a black card member, I have been to locations all over the state and across the country – not a single one compares to my experience here in Canton. I attribute every bit of this positivity to the incredible staff. Thank you all for being the best!

1 /5 Jaber: I’ve been a member for years and have always had positive experiences with the staff everyone’s usually friendly and professional. I don’t come to this Planet Fitness often since I have other gym memberships, but today’s visit was extremely disappointing. The blonde woman at the front desk (I believe she might be the assistant manager) was not only rude, but also loudly discussed my business in front of other customers, which felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I was honestly stunned by how she handled it. That kind of behavior makes me uncomfortable and has pushed me to cancel my membership. It’s a shame, because the rest of the staff has always been great. The gym was truly better with her not around, I hope she changes her ways.
