Amanda Thomas: I love coming to this Planet Fitness location! It’s always clean, welcoming, and well-kept. I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Shirley, who is here bright and early every morning. She always greets members with a big smile and such a positive attitude, which really sets the tone for the day. On top of that, she does a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. Her hard work and kindness don’t go unnoticed—thank you, Shirley, for making mornings at the gym so much better!

Hannah Lozon: Absolutely love BHC. I live close by, and my son goes to Goddard next door so the location is ideal. However, the game changer has been having childcare included 7 days a week, plus all the children’s activities and classes. Personally, I enjoy the group classes, personal trainer Jay is fantastic, and the equipment and facility are top notch. I imagine I’ll be a member for a long time!
Saans Pilates and Wellness Studio - Southfield
Siba Alzohaili: Love this new pilates studio! The facilities are beautiful and comfortable, you can tell the owner paid attention to the details. It was my first time but I immediately felt at home. I took a trampoline class with Stephanie and she was amazing! I was worried at first because I had never used that specific machine, but she really provided that one-on-one attention and instruction even in a group setting. This studio is relatively new, and its lovely to feel like youre part of a great group of people that are only going to grow from here!

TMY Jones: In the past the LTU gym was an acceptable place to lift weights. Over time more and more athletes were using the gym facilities and management evidently didn’t know how to cope with the growth. I do realize this could be due a lack of funds. But, I feel NO consideration was given to existing alumni who have paid for years and donated thousands in the past to help expand the overall campus. Myself, I donated thousands to help build a study/testing lab. At various times the locker rooms were unavailable to alumni, students and LTU staff. This was due to games and activities in session. This appeared to be occurring more frequent as each year passed. If you were in a situation where you needed to change you had to squeeze into a bathroom along with others doing likewise. The next incident occurred when all the weight machines were moved into a racket ball court. This was on the opposite side of the complex. I was told this was done to make room for more free weights for the athletes. Yet a room next door sat there with additional older free weights. Why?? When a game was going on, the racket ball court where the weight machines were, was closed off to alumni and students. If you wanted to lift you were forced to use the free weight rooms while an activity was in session. The final straw for me was when I went there on Aug 15, 2018. I discovered, without warning all the weight machines were moved out of the racket ball court to another location on campus. I would now have to leave the gym and go there if I wanted to use weight machines. This all happened AFTER I paid my full year alumni membership fee up front. We were NOT told this was going to happen and now try to get a work out in. We are all packed into the free weight room and sitting there with NO leg and arm machines. You are now forced to do squats for legs and dumbells for arms. If you want to circuit train forget it. They could have at least put the weight machines next door into the other room and cleared out the older free weights machines. Maybe not all of it would have fit in that room, but at least there would be some machines. Poor planning IMO. I was told the machines are for non-athletes and the free weights are for the athletes. To remove weight machines and reserve that strictly for the non-athletes and then categorize the free weight room strictly for the athletes makes no sense to me. There are benefits that can be experienced using both.
SHUT UP AND TRAIN - Beverly Hills
Angelina: An Unforgettable Experience at Shut and Train Gym Walking into Shut and Train Gym, I immediately felt welcomed and supported. The staff’s energy and positivity set the tone for an incredible workout. I trained with Kurt Carlos, who was amazing. His knowledge and guidance stood out as he made sure every movement had purpose and flow. As a beginner to boxing, he took the time to teach me the basics, from wrapping my hands to proper punches and footwork. The workout was well-structured, starting with a warm-up, moving into high energy boxing, targeted weight training, and ending with restorative stretches. The music was perfectly synced to each part of the session, making the entire experience engaging and motivating. This gym isn’t just about fitness; it’s about community and care. I left feeling stronger, more inspired and I can’t wait to go back.
Row House Fitness 13 Mile - Beverly Hills
Tricia Macalino: Came in last Friday for the first time. First class is free and strength with Adrienne was amazing. She showed me how to row and what to expect. Super welcoming environment. Definitely a must try!!
    TLG FITNESS - Berkley
Victoria Werthmann: TLG has truly changed my life for the better. I joined this gym 3 months ago, at in all time low in my fitness. Not only has my strength, endurance and mobility improved- but my mental health has as well. Now I finally found what makes me excited to move my body- and that’s coming to TLG! I’ve tried other classes as well, but none of them came close to what you find here. All the coaches are helpful, high-energy and amazing- and the classes are always challenging, but able to be modified if needed. I leave feeling refreshed every single time. The variety of exercises here is unmatched, and every time I come I learn a different exercise that I would have never thought of doing myself. I’m so grateful for all the coaches at TLG that helped me find my love of fitness again!
