5 /5 Sarah Frick: I joined Reforming Foundations Pilates about nine weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! The instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly care about your progress. They don’t just tell you what to do, they take the time to make sure you’re moving in a way that maximizes results while helping to prevent injury.
Both studios are small and intimate, which creates a welcoming, community feel. It’s clear how strong the relationships are between the instructors and their students, and that sense of connection makes it a place I genuinely look forward to being.
One of the things I appreciate most is the wide range of people who attend classes, clients of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I walked in after not working out at all for over two years, and I was a little nervous. With the help and encouragement of the instructors, I quickly got up to speed and never once felt like an inconvenience or out of place. They even offer classes focused on foundations, but the instructors are also great about giving extra guidance and modifications in regular classes so you always feel supported.
The class schedule is fantastic for people with busy lives. I have a full-time job, so having early morning classes makes it possible to consistently fit Pilates into my routine. While the Rochester location doesn’t currently offer Sunday classes, the Berkley location does, and with a membership, I love being able to attend classes at both locations. It gives me great flexibility and plenty of options.
In just a couple of months, I’ve already noticed improvements in my strength, flexibility, and confidence. I’ve learned so much thanks to the amazing team of instructors. A special shoutout to Kayla, Taylor, Jami, and Rebecca—thank you for your encouragement and for celebrating my wins right alongside me!
If you’re looking for a studio where you’ll feel supported, challenged, and part of a community, I couldn’t recommend Reforming Foundations Pilates more highly.
