4 /5 Sharon Harris: BLVD Brunch is a great place to get excellent breakfast food. It is a very busy spot. My wait for a table was minimal and the servers were courteous, prompt and polite. I was seated at the window, in what could be described as kind of a communal dining experience for smaller parties. My meal actually went to the person sitting next to me and I was offered someone’s black coffee. All of that was easily remedied and everything was still hot when it got to the correct person.
The menu is halal and offers interesting alternatives to pork including; turkey bacon, chicken sausage and salmon bacon. I ordered the Grandma’s Breakfast which included eggs, meat and pancakes. I had really tasty eggs that were fluffy and seemingly only yolks. I am not a fan of turkey bacon but theirs was cooked very well and had a crispness that is often missing from turkey bacon. The pancakes were fluffy and light.
All of the beverages were served in disposable containers which was a noticeable style choice. I wished my server had come around to top off my water before the bill came and offered a lid as I left. Payment is made immediately at your table via a handheld device so be certain you know if you are going to give your server a tip because you have to pay at that moment. I will return for brunch. Sunday is the best day to come because parking is free, otherwise you would have to be at a meter or in a lot, both of which are in the area.
