3 /5 E. B. Snodgrass: Really 2.5 stars. Food tries to be trendy and while my friends enjoyed their French toast, my eggs Benedict was barely average. The melon slices were cute the way it was presented. As you can tell we were there for Sunday brunch. It was pricey but that is expected for places like this. Service was friendly but very, very leisurely and the place was only about half full. Tasteful in the decor but isnt easy to get to from the parking lot if you use a walker or wheelchair. It is a long walk and they dont have valet parking. We were a little disappointed since we remembered how brunch was in the old setup before they closed for remodeling.

5 /5 Robert Stanchina: We went to Claras Table at the Dearborn Inn for my wifes birthday. The entire experience was amazing. The staff were A-game, through and through. I cant say enough about our interactions with everyone! The Executive Chef came and visited our table for a few minutes. Just a great guy. Initially, I spoke with, Hildi. Apparently I called the wrong number to make our reservation. She didnt transfer me into the ether. She took all my information, walked over to the restaurant, and took care of it for me. She came back to the call, and told me I was all set. Thats customer service! Esthetically, the place is beautiful. The people that are complaining about the revamp just need to accept that things change. Make no mistake about it. The place is gorgeous. We started with the pork belly. It was amazing. Pro tip: every bite MUST be taken with a little of everything on the plate. Youll thank me later. Theres this "tangyness" to it all that makes it DELICIOUS! I had the fillet. Probably one of the top 3 Ive ever had. It brought a tear to my eye! The Hasselback potato was delicious. My wife had the braised short ribs. Based on appearances alone, it almost looked too pretty to eat. ALMOST. One bite, and appearances were off the table. She "happy danced" through every single bite. No joke. Bite after bite. We had an outstanding experience. From the moment I picked up the phone to make the reservation. To the moment we begrudgingly left, it was phenomenal. So much so, that during conversation, my wife began a sentence, "When we come back here..." Shes hooked. So am I. I do know this. My birthday is at the end of August. I already know where were going for dinner. By the way, is it August yet??? A heartfelt thank you to all the staff were had the pleasure of meeting with. Keep up the fantastic work!

5 /5 Joe M: From the moment we stepped into the Dearborn Inn’s beautifully remodeled lobby, we knew we were in for something special. The space strikes the perfect balance between classic vintage elegance and a modern, down to earth charm. Clara’s Table continues that same energy, with a clean, stylish atmosphere and subtle nods to the Inn’s rich history. Our server, Natalie, made the evening even better. She was an absolute delight, warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and her friendly conversation enhanced the entire experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We began with the cherry beef chili, made with filet mignon, which was a creative twist on a comforting classic. My partner ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, which was hearty, flavorful, and pure comfort food done right. I had the chicken Milanese with broccoli pesto orzo, which was both delicious and generously portioned. We finished with the brown sugar tarte for dessert, a perfectly shareable sweet ending that hit all the right notes. The drinks were also top tier, with thoughtful seasonal offerings that complemented the meal beautifully. Overall, Clara’s Table is an excellent dinner option. It is elegant yet welcoming, with food and service to match. We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit!

5 /5 Urban Eaters Król Krzywonosy: Used to the Edison Restaurant. Loved the Big Salad! There were many menu items I wanted to order. Hubby enjoyed the smash burgers with tallow fries that was enough to share with 3 people. Delicious fries. We had the oysters from Prince Edward Island. The cider vinegar (minuette dressing ??) was ok. We prefer the lemon with horseradish. But we used all of it on our oysters. Wine was delicious Side note is dress code: I came in with leggings that had old paint on them. We just happened to be in the area so I would not have wore those. What I wore didn’t matter at all. Was treated just like everyone else.

5 /5 Larry Rubendall: Claras is the highlight of the Dearborn Inn! Natalie, our server, sommelier, and gustatorial guide was exceptional in her advice concerning food and wine choices. She was attentive without being intrusive and a great conversationalist to boot. "The Carrots" and squid ink pasta with shrimp are delicious and highly recommended. The Bordeaux Blanc was an excellent accompaniment. We couldnt have been be more pleased! A great value!
