Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Lansing (MI)

5 /5 Susan Berquist: Enjoyed a Christmas Eve get together with a few friends, on the bar side. Our server was great! I had seafood bisque, a half Napa Salad, a Coopers Hawk Margarita and the dessert pictured. This was my second visit to Coopers Hawk and I recommend it - its expensive, but worth it!

4 /5 Ms. Harper: Everything was so delicious and our waitress Nadia was amazing. There were 2 issues… we did the wine tasting and it was a great experience, however the lady wasn’t very kind at all, and I asked for no pork in my jambalaya and they added the sausage anyway and come to find out once home, the entire dish is a pork dish. :( that was really the only issue. * POOR MANAGEMENT *

5 /5 Seth and Stephanie Perrin: First time here and loved the vibe the moment we walked in. We had a 5 pm reservation on a Friday and it was fairly busy already. By the time we left at 7:15 pm there was a line in the winery/waiting area. Our waitress was extremely sweet, just very forgetful. We got the crispy brussel sprouts for an app. The portion was huge for the two of us, but yet we finished all of it! The taste was amazing, layers of balanced flavor, nice and crispy. For entrees we got the Mahi and Salmon. Portions were perfect (not massive like most restaurants). Both dishes were amazing. Since the portions were good we had room for dessert. We split the Reese’s cookie with ice cream. My only negative thing that I have is it’s very loud in the restaurant. Due to the amount of tables and high ceilings and no barriers, the sound just carries. We will definitely be back as there are many more items we are excited to try.

5 /5 Christina Collins: Definitely my favorite meal while visiting Lansing over a week for business. We started with a complimentary wine tasting at the bar while waiting for our table, and it started the evening out nicely. Loved the vibe, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. My favorite dish was the pretzel crusted pork. It just melted in my mouth, and the wine they suggested pairing with it was just perfect.

3 /5 Steven Wilson: This was our first visit to Coopers Hawk for an anniversary dinner. The hostess was aware and was very kind to mention it. She informed us the server would have a gift for us, if we asked them for it. The server also acknowledged our anniversary and said they would have a gift from them. We got a good explanation of the restaurant and then received a time share style sales pitch of their wine club. Which happened an additional time during the dinner. The food was alright but the brocilini was severely under cooked and required a steak knife to cut through. The restaurant was extremely busy, which is great but also caused drink delays. Our food was delivered promptly it was just not the quality I expected for the price. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and style. With the captive sales pitch and the gift having to be asked for and never received just less me feeling underwhelmed. We may go back but it wont be top on my list. Depending on what you are looking for this may work for you.
