Laskos Restaurant - Midland (MI)

5 /5 Devin Eden: This was our first time at Lasko’s and it will be one of many. We sat at the counter and were helped immediately. At the counter we got to watch the cooks in action which was fascinating, and we watched the waitresses work together like a well-oiled machine. Our food came fast and was perfectly warm. The piggy lover’s omelet was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Our grandpa, who is hard to impress, called it “pretty good.” For someone who usually only says “that wasn’t bad,” that’s an amazing compliment! We also noticed multiple people sat at the counter who the waitresses all knew by name, which was another little touch that made us want to come back often.

4 /5 benSDC: Solid diner, probably the best Ive had in Midland. I only tend to get omelettes or salads, and almost always the "Greek" offering of either. I do wish getting egg whites instead of whole eggs was not such a significant upcharge ($3 if I recall correctly), but I reckon that might be standard restaurant protocol. Service is always great. Staff is very friendly. The place can get very packed, and gets pretty dang loud. I wish they had one more bathroom (they have one male and one female), as there is usually a wait. It would be nice if there was a wall separating the outdoor seating from the busy road, because the traffic is VERY loud, making outdoor seating a bit of a drag, but that might not be an option.

5 /5 Melissa Dean: We had Andrew as our server and he was absolutely wonderful! Very pleasant and attentive. The food was very good with nice sized portions. All of the staff were dressed in cute shirts for the holidays. The restaurant interior was fun and festive as well.

5 /5 Mark Young: We were in town for a golf tournament and staying locally. Thanks to Google for finding this gem. We loved it so much that we ate breakfast there 3 separate days and 1 day for lunch. The service is friendly and very responsive with lots of coffee refills. One of the best breakfast places I have ever ate at. The omelette was huge with fresh ingredients. I loved the fresh sliced hash browns inside it. I also had a side pancake. Needless to say we didn’t have to eat lunch. For lunch one day we both had Greek salads with chicken. They were huge and plenty of fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. I plan to come back to this tournament next year and look forward to coming back here for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommended!
