4 /5 Ken Durbin: Elegant Dining with a Minor Setback. I recently visited this beautifully appointed restaurant and overall had a good experience. The dining room was tastefully arranged with crisp white tablecloths, dim lighting, and a warm, inviting ambiance. The chandeliers and classic decor added a touch of sophistication that made the evening feel special.
I ordered the salmon, which came with carrots, creamed spinach, and green beans—all cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation matched the upscale setting.
However, upon arrival, I stopped by the restroom and noticed one of the urinals was out of service and bagged. A temporary container had been placed to catch dripping water, but unfortunately, water had pooled across the floor, suggesting the issue had been ongoing. It wasn’t a great first impression, especially since this could have been resolved more cleanly by shutting off the valve. Restroom upkeep is something I always pay attention to, and this situation felt overlooked.
That said, the food and atmosphere were excellent, and I’d still recommend the restaurant—just hoping they tighten up the maintenance side to match the quality of the dining experience.
