4 /5 Sasha Biggens: 4 stars because of prior experiences, 1 star for the visit in question. Highly disappointed and sad to be writing this, but im honestly just too bothered to ignore it. I always choose this location because theyre so wonderful about making the tenders fresh, and perfectly juicy. The last two times, this has not been my experience. Its really disheartening to spend $20 on a meal youre excited about, just to receive chicken thats clearly been sitting a while. It had the stale, chewy texture of overcooked protein, and none of the heat. The only hot thing in my meal was the cheese curds, which while nice, werent what i was looking forward to. I worked in the food industry for 8 years, im the least picky person in the world. I dont even remember the last time i left a review of anything. I just want the freshness and flavor of my meal to match what Im paying, and this is the second time straight its missed that mark.
That said, the staff is incredibly kind and I appreciate their hospitality. I always feel welcomed and relaxed, and I love that they dont brush you off like staff at so many other restaurants.
