4 /5 Katie Kemsley: First time here. Service was awesome. We ordered our food over the phone (on a Sunday) they were super busy, but the lady on the phone was super patient and respectful. The food was steaming hot. The greens were a little salty. The oxtails and meatloaf were amazing. We will definitely be back!

However, ordering for the holidays is more complicated than it should be. You call ahead, they take the order, but wont take payment over the phone? So you have to go up there twice to get a holiday order...

5 /5 Thomas Riley: I recent ordered a pound of beef brisket and a half pound of beef sausage. I was with my dad, who also ordered a beef brisket sandwich. Neither of us had ever been here before, but Ill definitely be coming back soon. The beef brisket was so well-prepared it practically melted in my mouth. And the beef sausage was excellent! For the record, no one asked me to write this review. This review is organic. The meat they serve is really that good. When I was there, the owner was also there and when he realized I was a first-time customer, he gave me a taste test (which I didnt need, I have experience here and can recognize great cooked meat from looking at it) but he still insisted. Because he cares. And isnt a meathouse owner who cares about serving great food to each and every customer the definition of a great restaurant? It is to me. Ill be back. Multiple times.
