4 /5 Rachel Wojahn: Overall it we had a lovely experience. We started with two mojitos, I feel slightly silly complaining about this but they were so strong and syrupy I had to order a side of soda water to dilute it, if I wanted booze on the rocks I would have order that instead of a cocktail thats supposed to be light and herbal.
The food was delicious and they offer several gluten free options which is what made us decide to go. The service was ok... Our server did not bring us a bottle of water that all of the other tables had nor did she notice our empty glasses. She also presented us with a check that had many items on it that we did not order and told us to double check everything like she already knew there was a big mess up.
We will try it again next time were in the area. I will say for being a Cuban restaurant the atmosphere was underwhelming. Most Cuban restaurants Ive been to are vibrant and colorful with music and artwork that reflect the culture. This place definitely lacked a bit in ambience but it was still warm and cozy. The overhead lighting was strange, as you can tell by the photo of the purple paella.
