Highly Recommended 14 Dinner Restaurants Near Midland, Michigan

Akriti Sakhuja I personally love this place, but I can be a little biased. Food tastes great, service is good too. The menu has a good variety of Mediterranean, Asian, American bowls and types of Macs. Ingredients seem fresh always and quantity is good for one person. The place was clean and food was served hot. Ambience is great.

Lacey Lathrop This was our first time at Cafe Zinc. The atmosphere was very nice/upscale but still cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. Their Gluten Free toast was the best I’ve had at a restaurant! Our server, “Lu”, was very knowledgeable and very friendly! He informed us that we are able to order a loaf of their GF bread for pick up, a couple days in advance. Which is great to know! Our food took a bit longer than expected but it was a busy morning. It was well worth the wait. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant and returning in the future to try other items on their menu!

dawn hock Came in last night for my birthday, got the best waitress ever!! Tried fish tacos and my only complaint is they should have come with extra sauce on the side cause they were dry, my dinner was delicious, but my husbands steak was very chewy. I mean it’s a steak house so it’s very disappointing that you can’t get a good steak there. They do have other things to get but it really seems I’m the only one who gets a good meal. My husband has tried every steak you serve, and the one time he got a tender one it was covered in spices drowning out the streak flavor. We always spend 100$ , I’m starting to think if we’re gonna spend that much we need to leave Midland from now on.

Gannon Rioux This was easily the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had, hands down. Kimmy helped us all night and seemed to be there every time we needed something. The drinks came out so fast and Kimmy remembered everything, without error. I would recommend dining at Big E’s to anyone and would especially if can get kimmy as your server!

Maddie K Great food, good drinks. Our waiter was very nice, checked on us frequently. The steak was cooked perfect with garlic butter on the top. Ceaser salad was different but good, definitely will be back if in the area again!

LJ McGahey Food was good, got the chicken Alfredo with broccoli. Our server was excellent! I wish I would’ve remembered her name. Honestly the best server I’ve had in years, never once had to ask for a refill on breadsticks or beverages. She was fast and efficient with the whole experience there.

Tamara Knapp Never thought I would 5 star an Applebees but the server and hostess were both great, engaging, and quick. The food was really good too for a chain restaurant. I had the chicken bowl and it was delicious - would definitely get again.

K Krzymicki I ate a late lunch here today and it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I had the burrito Verdes and the chips and salsa with a lemonade. I will definitely be back again. So good!

Thomas Smekar Took brother and sister-in-law there. Waitress very friendly and accommodating to a special request on a portion for it be like a childs. Sometimes persons cant eat a full meal. Waitress said no problem with it. The food came out nice and hot. I had the chicken noodle soup and it was hearty and delicious. The buffalo cauliflower was spot on, tasty and not greasy at all. Ive been there for breakfast also and it is good portions, so you should not be hungry afterwards. The overall experience makes for wanting return trips.

Reva Martinez This place is so nice! Came with the family and had an amazing meal. The salad bar was fresh with lots of options, nothing like a great salad bar and my meal was great. I suggest the sweet potato fries, yummm! The owner was there when we were there, he introduced himself and made sure everything going great. We will definitely be back! Also the music was awesome it made dinner even better, thanks Alexs!

Kimber Harless We tried the brisket and smoked turkey breast — both were tender, flavorful, and clearly smoked to perfection. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the loaded tots were packed with flavor, and even the side salad was fresh and well done. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. We’ll definitely be back!

Jocelyn Berry My daughter in law suggested Sams when we were visiting from Ohio. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and breads sticks. The bread sticks were SO GOOD, theyre soft and chewy and cheezy with plenty of garlic parmesan! I had to order another couple large orders as we headed back home. Wish we had a Sams pizza around here. My husband also ordered a pizza sandwich and enjoyed it

Chad Banghart I had a great experience at Maru in Midland this afternoon for lunch. After growing up eating at their original location in Okemos for years, this was my first time at this specific location and it didn’t disappoint. Pictures attached are the following: Pic 1 (appetizers): gyoza, rangoon dip, kimchi arancini. Pic 2 (sushi): On top is the crouching tiger roll (sauces on side) and a cali roll. On bottom is a Cosmo roll with salmon and tuna. Pic 3 (dessert): seasonal pumpkin spice crème brûlée with candied walnuts and dried cranberries. I also couldnt say nicer things about our waitress (Stacy L.). She was on top of everything despite being busy during an afternoon rush they weren’t expecting. She’s an all-star who knows how to provide quality, insightful, quick, but non-pushy service. And of course she talked me into ordering dessert despite having no plans to — glad I did! Will be back in the future without any hesitation!
