    Ben Kelly: Very chic studio, the energy is upbeat and motivating. The studio space is immaculately clean and well cared for, the instructors make a point to connect with each client and hear their goals and concerns, I felt very supported and inspired to keep coming back and working on my strength. I took "Buns and Guns" (one of the many pilates classes) and it was a great total body workout with a focus on our glutes and upper body, the combination movements really helped to challenge me but with the adjustments from the instructor I felt like I got a magnificent workout. Will definitely be going back!

    Karen G: Jes is a phenomenal trainer for core strength, mobility, cardio fitness and more. Shes one of the most positive and supportive trainers Ive worked with over the years. Ive seen her work with pro athletes, older clients and in 1-1 or group settings. Her knowledgeably nutrition is also super helpful.

    Erin Prior: My happy place! The best, most inclusive and empowering workout I’ve ever done. Strength, cardio, mindfulness and it all creates major burn! Have done B3 for years and this studio is so big, bright and the community of clients and instructors is really special. They offer their 45-60 min signature classes, cardio focused classes, strength focused classes and a mindful flow class. There’s nothing like it. AND they offer childcare! A workout you can do every day since it is low impact all while working so hard on major muscle groups and the muscles we don’t even know we have. Love that clients are of all ages and body types and there are many modifications given and encouraged by instructors to challenge AND honor your body each class. It’s so functional and has strengthened, toned and supported my body in ways that I don’t get elsewhere. A great option for your primary workout or even cross training if you are a runner / cyclist etc. Go get your first free class and see (and feel) for yourself!!

I started several months ago during a womens learn to lift seminar series with the owner, Lauren. I have continued on and really appreciate the supportive coaches and thoughtful programming. Fellow lifters are supportive and coaches will meet you where you are. Im getting stronger and also noticing increased mobility. Highly recommend!

This specific y itself though is very poorly organized, especially the aquatics department. The pool is a bit nasty as are the drinking fountains. Looking forward to the day when this y has more capable management that can handle constructive feedback.

After another 3 months, it improved again, and my aerobic fitness improved too. The process truly works, and the coaches are there every step of the way with whatever kind of support you need. If you want to get in shape, get stronger, or (like me) just get moving, I highly, highly recommend AFS.
