1 /5 Tinita Jamison: American Lending literally stole my car when I went to get it fixed from the dealership without telling me anything. They waited until the last minute to send out a letter to me. When I called? One of the customer service representatives were rude and hung up in my face. Also, the boss of this place? Has a nasty attitude and LIED about calling me to tell me where my car was. She swore she left a voicemail and she NEVER did. WORST people To ever get in business with. Better off going elsewhere

I had my car only for 6 months , and it shuts off often , even though I was told everything was good and had a paper state in good condition everything is fits but my car been shutting down a lot and I took it to a mechanic they list a bunch of things I need fix . Please do not buy any car dealing with them . They only want they money .I have a warranty on my car and still won’t fix it.

When I first got my car I was working consistent and overtime, since then Ive taken on more responsibility and I also havent been able to work that many hours. Through my financial hardship they have worked with me and helped me keep my account in good standing. Thank you so much.

Jackie Kay: I came to Our Credit Union back in 2020 and opened up a savings account. I then proceeded to purchase a car and took out a loan with them. Best experience! I was 20 years old at the time, never done such a thing before, and was honestly scared of making such a big financial move. Since day one the staff at both Warren and Royal Oak locations have been extremely helpful through my journey. They looked out for me as if i was their own family member! I got AMAZING rates with them and last month I just made my last payment on my car! (Yay!) I will continue recommend this credit union to everyone I know.

Jolena Brown: Been with this credit Union for a over 2 years. Customer service is satisfactory and the bankers ALWAYS appear to be as you are bothering them. Not very helpful and sharing with information. The hold time when calling and trying to reach any department is less than acceptable. Disappointed in choosing this credit union, truly in sear h if a new one and definitely would not recommend this to co-workers, as I am in Human Resources.

Michael Tabaczynski: Lake Trust is always there to help you when you need a product or service. Their staff are always pleasant, friendly, and prompt. My favorite team of people are the staff at the Center Line branch. I have been going to this branch since it was Father Kramer Credit Union, and when it turned to Lake Trust, I received the same great service. Robin is the absolute best and has been there since I got my account when it was Fr. Kramer. This was the place I got my first auto loan as well. Everyone at this branch is so nice, helpful, and take the time to get to know their members. I highly recommend Lake Trust Credit Union to anyone looking for a financial institution that provides great, easy, and simple products, along with their technology and great member service.

Shannon Perry: This is the absolute worst bank to get a loan through. They give you the run around they refuse to help you. They report false info to the credit agency and ruin people’s credit. The customer service is rude! They have my money cashed my check for over 3000 to pay off my loan but they said there is a 30 day hold for my title. So does they mean I get my 3000 back while you wait? Nope! If I could give them 0 stars I could. From the moment I have been with them it has been nothing but horrible. I do not recommend doing business with them to anyone!

Mark: Extremely disappointed with my experience at this credit union—especially with Assistant Branch Manager, Justin Ross. I came in with strong credit, income, and available lines far above what was requested, yet was only offered a $10K limit after requesting $40K. When I asked for clarification or reconsideration, Justin was unresponsive and lacked the professionalism I’d expect from someone in his position. There was no sense of follow-through, no transparency in the decision, and frankly, the service felt dismissive. I can’t help but feel there may have been some bias at play, intentional or not. This kind of treatment reflects poorly on MSGCU as a whole. If you’re looking for a financial institution that values its members and actually takes the time to understand their full profile, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
