Powerhouse Gym East Lansing - East Lansing
Powerhouse Gym East Lansing
Jordan: Went here 4yrs during medical school. Best gym of my life yet. Worked with me on membership. Clean. Priced fine. Trainer Jeremy was amazing. I thought Crunch was comparable but Powerhouse took good care of me
State of Fitness - Lansing
Rachel Paris: State of Fitness is a great place to get back into shape! The small group classes offer the perfect balance of community and individual attention. I really appreciate the personal corrections and coaching — it’s helped me improve so much. All of the coaches bring something unique with their different training styles, and I’ve learned so much from each of them. It’s a supportive, motivating environment that truly helps you grow, no matter where youre starting from.

Crunch Fitness - East Lansing
julian miller: I’ve been going to crunch since opening day, and don’t plan on going elsewhere. It’s the gym I recommend to anyone who’s working out at a PF, or looking for more variety in their training. I’ve always liked that they not only have all the free weights, and machines you need, but they also places for cardio, HIIT and stretching. My biggest complaint is machine maintenance, and crowding (which I believe will be resolved with their new expansion). Although most of the machines work consistently, there are always a couple broken cables. I do blame the users rather than the gym, but with cables being the most versatile equipment in the gym, it’s annoying when I have to check if the open cable is actually working; stuck in place, stuck at a weight or doesn’t move smoothly. I understand maintaining equipment with as many members as they have is difficult, but it would be nice to have things fixed in a timely manner. And to touch on crowding: I’m someone who wants to do my workout and leave. I have found if you go during the day, or in the evening you can just about count on having to wait for the machine, bench, squat rack, weight, or space to workout. Because of this I go either early in the morning or late at night. As I had said previously, I do believe that their expansion will help a lot with the crowding and I look forward to its opening. Lastly the staff: In my time there I have seen many employees and trainers come and go. I have never had any issues with their staffing and I believe they all do a great job. P.s. shout out to the good lighting and the gym buddies I’ve made there!

Ele Muhammad: Wow! First day here and I’m 100% impressed. This gym is clean, staff is friendly and professional, and the equipment is top notch. Perfect place for experienced powerlifters or athletes with mainly free weights and athletic performance equipment (vs machines.) If you’re a gym beginner I highly recommend working with a trainer here because they are knowledgeable and everyone is super welcoming but you may want some guidance for how to get a safe and effective lift (not many machines etc..) 5 stars, definitely a gem if you’re looking to train
Conquest Fitness - Lansing
Marina: I recently joined Conquest Fitness, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The facility is exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to support a variety of training needs. The staff is professional, welcoming, and genuinely supportive, fostering a positive and motivating environment. Even the members contribute to the encouraging atmosphere, which speaks volumes about the gym’s culture. One standout feature for me is the on-site childcare, which makes it much easier to prioritize my fitness goals as a parent. The steam room is another added benefit that enhances the overall experience. Conquest Fitness truly sets the standard for athletic gyms in the area.
Court One Athletic Clubs - Lansing
Chelsie DeLong: I went to a tournament today at court one and the tournament organizer were cool, calm and collected. Everything felt really well organized from ball storage, court assignments and communication. I’m impressed!
Anytime Fitness - East Lansing
Traci Ruiz: For being a smaller gym, it packs a lot of equipment. Convenient location and 24/7 hours. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 for all it has to offer, but a 1 out of 5 for cleanliness. The bathrooms are always trashed, floors, rugs, equipment, and interior dirty, and no cleaning rags yesterday to wipe equipment. The bad part is that there was an employee when I arrived who had gone home by the time I saw the bathrooms and the rags out. This should be a daily routine to check the gym before leaving. This was around dinner time, so I suspect the equipment wasn’t getting cleaned until staff returned the following day. Dirtiness has been an ongoing problem for the past 1.5-2 years, which is why I do not shower there, and I only use this gym when alternatives are closed. When new ownership recently took over, there have been numerous improvements to equipment, which is a positive, but the cleanliness is subpar at best. I would love to speak to the new owner and provide thanks for the improvements, as well as offer suggestions. It will take the owner being there for extended periods to get the gym to the level it should be. Holding a good thought…

Susan Dooley: Popped in while visiting Lansing. This gym is FANTASTIC! I was sent a text to confirm my first visit; given a tour when I arrived, and made to feel welcome. Morgan is a OUTSTANDING instructor who kept the energy high and cues on point. Great music, great workout. Overall - I rate this a 10/10 experience. I will be back!
FitStop24-Lansing - Lansing
Joseph DeLisle: I workout here. The price is nice but the equipment sucks, owners and managers dont wont replace dumbbells that are damaged. The treadmills are always out or broken they need replace all of them.

Jen Willett: Love their homeschool swim and gym program. My son took it for several years. He faced his fears, learned to swim and climb the rock wall. Instructors were awesome with the kids and kept them busy for 2 hours! Great exercise and parents could talk to each other or read while they waited. I got to know several homeschool moms that I didn’t already know or was able to get work done.
