Op Sec: As far as Planet Fitnesses, this place is pretty clean and the hours are decent. Biggest complaint with this location is the recent remodeling that they did. While I appreciate all the new Cardio equipment, a lot of the actual machines for lifting weights are out-dated and need to be changed out IMMEDIATELY! I travel a lot and have been to a lot of different PF locations, most of which have more updated lifting machines with the automatic counters and timers, which are VERY helpful for working out. These would be an excellent update now that all the Cardio equipment is swapped. For the size/volume of business that they do compared to other PF locations, there is no excuse for not having state-of-the-art/updated equipment in Rochester Hills, MI!

Rosa Garduno: At F45 Rochester hills every trainer is so kind, patient, and attentive. Class sizes are a perfect balance, the feeling of community, without being overcrowded. The facilities have always been exceptionally clean and neat. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work out with. I cannot recommend a F45 Rochester Hills enough!

Mike Gray: If you are looking for progress, don’t go here. I have been attending this gym for the past year, and I have seen the same people doing the same classes, over and over again. For several hundred dollars mind you, and I haven’t seen anyone progress. Like at all. And these are all simple movements. Like body weight. Other considerations: -no key fab. You get to workout when someone is there. Or maybe not, I’ve walked in there several times and not a single staff member is there. -it’s a sauna. Their HVAC is either busted or they don’t want to pay for it, and only have 3 moderately effective fans -if you wanna workout on a holiday weekend, forget about it. The owners close the shop for the entire weekend. -equipment is never put back. Hope you like working on your balance as you carry the weights you want over hex bars -if you haven’t looked at the hours before you walk in, you should. Cause there’s a great chance you’ll be greeted by a locked door. If you have like, I dunno, a “life”, you’ll never get to use this gym. Please, if you want to get in shape or learn new things, consider an alternative.
Downtown Gym - Rochester
Shawn Scanlon: I’ve been training at Downtown Gym for over 10 years. In that time I’ve been able to lose a lot of weight and gain a ton of muscle. Their trainers are some of the best around. The gym is never overly busy and there is a ton of equipment for any of your needs. I’d highly recommend checking it out!

Jeannine Lambrecht: The Barre Code in Rochester Hills is an amazing place to work out. The instructors work you hard and are very motivating! If you really want to feel good about yourself try a free class and you will be hooked to come back! I brought in a few friends and we all are motivating each other.

Donna Duff: I have been consistently working out at The Exercise Coach for 13 months now. I like getting a full body workout out in only 20 minutes with the emphasis on strength training. Very efficient. They have state of the art equipment tracking your progress as well as great personal trainers that keep you motivated and really pay attention to modifications when needed for pain and injuries. My trainers (CJ, Jen, Abby, Henry) are all great to work with and personalize each workout to your own specific needs.
AKT - Rochester Hills

I was a little hesitant to join as I thought this place was was the younger crowd, but I was SO wrong, there are varies ages and I felt like part of the AKT family instantly. Thank you Deanna and staff for always motivating me and making me feel too welcome!!
