3 /5 JAA Michigan: This restaurant has a nice location and nice atmosphere. Our server was accurate, efficient and pleasant. Our water was filled regularly. Unfortunately, the food just wasn’t very good. We had Greek Salads and the lettuce was riddled with decaying pieces. We also had chicken gyros. The chicken is supposed to be grilled, but it was very greasy and was either fried or cooked on an oily griddle. The flavor of the chicken was good, but it was too oily and there wasn’t enough chicken to come close to filling the pita. The sandwich came with chips that were incredibly greasy and overcooked. There were literally areas of oil sitting on the chips.
Our seating was in the bar. The table had a huge round base, so we were not able to pull our chairs close to the table. It was really uncomfortable.
Lastly, there are two bathrooms….. a Men’s and a Unisex. So they have a men only, but no women only. Also, the lock on the unisex door didn’t work.
This restaurant has potential and we wanted to love it, but they are not making the effort and the end product is mediocre to poor.
