1 /5 Amanda Osburn: While out and about this weekend, we decided to go in as a family to Steak N Shake rather than our normal drive thru trip. We were not met with any greeting, just seen people in the back and kiosks for people to order on. My family placed our order, including two shakes, one having extra cherries. We waited for over 20 minutes for our food, and 12 for the shakes. People came out from the back, set my stuff down, stated my name and simply walked away. Both shakes were missing cherries, one needing extra there was no one to speak with because everyone was behind the walls. Two of our orders were supposed to have up sized fries, everyone simply were given the same amount.
The dining area was not clean. Most tables were sticky with soda rings left on them. Asking for a box for our leftovers took me over 4 minutes of waiting by a counter for someone to assist me.
No interaction with the humans, slow service and not even correct items. Even with the QR code for refills, I had issues with the soda machine, but again no staff to assist.
What happened to having staff? Anyone to even welcome you and see if you need any help? The customer service or even service that you are asking me to tip for at checkout on your kiosk screen.
