2 /5 Natalie Lovett: I came into the store today to return a pair of pants I had purchased online. I was unaware that they were from Banana Republic Factory. When I walked in the two ladies at the front just glared at me, and did not ask how can I help, how are you, welcome in, etc. I brought my pants up and immediately after looking at the tag the lady said in a very dismissive tone that “they are the factory version and they don’t accept returns from them.” I have worked in retail as a store manager in the past so I completely get company policy but the way it was said was very off putting. Additionally, I was planning to shop around but they didn’t seem welcoming nor willing to ask if I needed anything else whatsoever so I just decided to leave. It seemed as if because I looked so young they were not taking me seriously as a customer. I am 22 years old and a teacher, I’m not some child. The customer service definitely needs some work and I will not be returning!!
