5 /5 Douglas Gapinski: For those who don’t know about the methodology: Orangetheory is all about interval training (HIIT) that mixes rowing, treadmills, and strength work. Active heart rate monitoring (through OT’s proprietary gear) is designed to help you maximize fat burn / metabolic gains. Combined with a good diet and sleep hygiene you will see results here really quickly even if you already have a solid foundation of fitness. If you are looking to gain muscle mass you will have to prioritize attending weight-specific classes vs. attending 2g (kind of the standard workout) or 3g (standard + more rowing) workouts.
As of July 2025, this particular studio is very new and very nice: newer equipment than many gyms, ample room for the different stations, clean equipment, nice bathrooms, etc.
One main differentiator at this location is the staff is super friendly and treated me with an amazing level of welcome even though this is not my home studio. Tim and Alex greeted me and showed interest in my fitness goals. This is not typical when attending other non-home studios, especially outside of the midwest.
Coach Macy was one of the best fitness coaches I’ve seen at any OT location – super present, very positive, and checking in on all class members individuals. She gave personalized encouragement to each member that showed attention to detail. The ability for a coach to be that present and fully in the moment with the class is really a gift!
If you’re on the fence about Orangetheory, this would be a great location to try because the facilities are new and the staff is super nice. If your home studio feels lackluster, you should give this location a shot and consider switching to it.
