Ashley A: I love this gym! The atmosphere is very positive and welcoming. The gym itself is well maintained and clean. The staff is super friendly and there’s a wide variety of equipment available, as well as plenty of classes to choose from. They also have saunas, tanning, a smoothie bar, and a great kids club!
LA Fitness - Roseville

Luis Basurto: The major issue with this location is cleanliness. This gym is filthy. The parking lot is riddled with trash. No one wipes down the sweaty benches. Trash and empty bottles on the cardio machines. The tiles and grout in the pool and hot tub are filthy. And the locker room is the worst of all. Doors on lockers are broken, hanging off the hinges and some completely broken to pieces. There is trash all over the floor. And mold growing on the curtains, tiles and grout in the showers. For the last several months there have been missing curtains in the showers and missing soap containers. Of the soap containers that are present half are broken and the ones that work are empty. Overall this gym is just gross. This gym is right down the road, so it’s a convenient location but at this point I’m much more comfortable driving 10-20 minutes out of the way to go to a clean gym.
IronBody Studios - Madison Heights
Destiny Yang: My friend and I had such a great experience today with Fatima for Sculpt Pilates!! I don’t have much experience with Pilates so it was a bit challenging but I really enjoyed it. The studio is very nice and welcoming. Very organized as well. I definitely recommend trying them out and plan on booking future sessions with friends!

Dani: This is such a welcoming place! Its a very small, intimate setting not a huge intimidating gymnasium of super fit people, this is a community setting. Everyone knew eachother and I felt very comfortable in both styles of zumba classes. They offer modifications for every level of fitness, Ill even try to take my senior mom here soon! super affordable too and the owner is very sweet. Highly recommend!

Golf Doc: Numerous lights out in facility. Damaged pads carrying staph. Cockroaches in shower. Management is clueless !!!
The Edge Fitness Clubs - Sterling Heights
The Edge Fitness Clubs
Samantha Hampson: One star review is not because of the corporate itself. Its because the gym is run by a bunch of hypocrites and not a one of the employees still employed there has any self respect or owns up to thier mistakes. Catherine Barba was and is the BEST trainer and most honest person I have met. As a friend and as a professional, I will follow her to the next gym that decides to respect what she does for HER clients. If you want to live in a fairytale where everyone wants to be nice to your face and talk behind your back, then by all means. Go to Edge Fitness on 18 mile. Also, watch your check book, because they like to charge you for sessions that are one on one with your trainer, but not let you or the trainer know either. Make sure you read the fine prints, just like I did, and when you have questions, just like I asked, make sure you are signing up for what you assume you are signing up for.
Pulse Fitness - Pleasant Ridge
Cameron Cavazos: Incredibly disappointed. From the area but moved away for work, have followed Pulse throughout the years and was looking forward to joining when I moved back home. Joined for 2 months and cancelled. If you go while there’s a class, don’t bother bringing headphones. If you join and only use the open gym, they’ll treat you as such. Classes are what they care about and if you aren’t drinking the kool aid you will feel unwelcome. I was working out on their turf section, no class going on, one of their trainers came into the back room and turned his music on the loudspeaker and audibly laughed as I took my headphones out because I couldn’t hear. We were told a sauna was being put in. If it’s anything like the bathrooms, don’t go in it. Fruit flies all over the bathroom. Lastly, why would you put the cardio machines in the hottest part of the building? Upstairs in the corner? All in all, the least welcoming gym I’ve ever been a part of. Would not recommend for $100.
