Every time I’ve visited, he has gone out of his way to help me and anyone else who comes through the door. He’s genuinely one of the most thoughtful and considerate people I’ve encountered at any establishment. You could have turned me away but you didnt. Thank you, Nick, for always being so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Because of the way you take care of people, I’ll absolutely be returning to this location again. 5 /5 Jessunandbrahma: Im a member of this gym, I love it here. Tons of weightlifting machines, plenty of free weights for everybody and accessories galore. Price is fair, open 24/7 is great as I come in at varying times during the week. Management is great, everybody is friendly and there is a variety of people here who come here ranging from beginners to pros. Southfield is buff mane! Thanks!!

3 /5 FriedChicken: Pros: not too expensive ($30) unlike LA fitness, open 24hours , not very crowded and it is clean. Cons: Very small, equipments are very old, even though it is affordable it should be even cheaper due to size and age

LA Fitness - Livonia

ali tarhini: What happened to the old LA fitness. A series of inconveniences that really have impacted my gym experience have led to this post. Just for context, I have been a member for a little over a year and switch from Crunch (which was a really good gym for the price) only because they lacked a basketball court and swimming pool. Today was the straw that broke that camels back. After my gym session, I left and forgot my gym water bottle. When I got home, I called the gym and the receptionist answered the phone. I asked if she could check to see if the cup was anywhere in the gym (with a specific location of where it was). To which she replied, "Im the only person on staff right now and I cant leave the front desk". Now I get that its not necessarily her job to go out and check, but the receptionists with the exception of one person LITERALLY just sit there with their sippy water bottles and watch TikToks! Pay no attention to whos coming in without any acknowledgment of any of the members with a hello or good morning. Furthermore, the basketball courts are always slippery. The gym equipment is always needing maintenance, they dont take care of their gym equipment. Its just a shame that I pay $35 a month (not counting the annual fee) for sub-par service. Im honestly considering switching to a private gym

Ann Marie: We had an amazing time at Dyno Detroit! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt safe throughout our visit. They took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the experience even better. Our group had a blast trying out the different climbing routes, and we can’t wait to come back for another adventure. Highly recommend this gym for climbers of all levels!

Addel: Great gym and well equipped with all kinds of machines for all big lifts. Solid dumbbell rack and two smith machines too! Comes with plenty of cardio machines and an indoor track which is very convenient.

New Account: Mike the manager needs an attitude adjustment. He’s demeanor is very rude and not welcoming. another guy that manages he’s very sweet and helpful & care about the safety of the members durning after hours. The gym is hot no AC. Other than that I do like the gym!

Midtown Yoga Wellness Center - Detroit

Ron Reed: This is my favorite place anywhere to do hot yoga. The studio walls are concrete with a ceiling that is about 20 ft. high with heaters running throughout the studio, which is perfect. The studio stays very hot (sometimes a little too hot, which is worse than the alternative). All the instructors Ive had are great and focused on yoga without music...YAY! Well, mostly,without music. There is usually street parking in addition to the small lot next to the studio. Reminder that street parking is free in Sunday in Detroit.

Crunch Fitness - Taylor - Taylor

Shauntina Sweet: I attended a Pilates class today led by Mekelle, and I just have to say she did an amazing job! I’ve taken a number of different classes at crunch- Taylor , but Mekelle was the first instructor who truly made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. What stood out to me the most was how she greeted every person individually, creating an inclusive and positive atmosphere right from the start. No matter where you are on your fitness journey, her class made you feel good and capable. She did a fantastic job keeping the workout leveled and accessible for everyone, while still bringing high energy and motivation. I really appreciated how attentive she was checking in with us and offering helpful adjustments when our posture or movement needed fine tuning. That kind of engagement makes such a difference. I enjoyed her teaching style so much that I’m actually working on adjusting my schedule just to attend more of her classes. Even though it was definitely a workout, I left feeling proud, strong, and uplifted. Kudos to Mekelle for creating such a safe, empowering, and fun environment all in just 45 minutes!

Gwenevere Schaller: I’ve been a member here for a little over a year now and it has been a game changer for me! What used to feel like a chore has now become one of the highlights of my routine and something I look forward to. They offer a ton of classes that provide a great variety of work outs. I’ve tried almost all of them at this point at least once, all the instructors are wonderful and the classes are structured for all levels, allowing you to show up where you’re at while still challenging you to push yourself to improve. The community here is very friendly and supportive, all the staff and fellow members included. Everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. It’s been a great accountability tool for me. I’ve also done some personal training with Helen which I highly recommend! She is a great instructor and trainer and does a wonderful job of meeting you where you are while still pushing you to improve with every workout. Training with her gave me a great foundation for strength training, something I had always been interested in but often felt overwhelmed by. She gave me the tools to build a solid lifting routine and the confidence to utilize all areas of the gym, not just the cardio machines. Since training with her I’ve seen considerable improvements to my strength and overall fitness. This is not your corporate gym, they truly care and want the best for their members. If you are looking for a place that makes fitness fun, this is it!

Bill Thompson: I work out at this gym. The facility is very large and roomy. There are duplicate machines so there is very short wait time if the machines are in use. There are free weights with pulley machines and stand alone benches for the more serious lifters and two rows of single use machines called isolation machines for a total body workout. Numerous treadmills and stair climbers as well as elliptical machines, stationary bikes. Too many to list. There are seperate spacious locker rooms, one for the men and one for the ladies. Showers are available. The locker room for the men is very neat and well kept. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This location has tanning beds for those who are VIP members which cost extra. I highly recommend this gym to anyone from the serious gym rat to the beginners. Have to start somewhere.
