1 /5 Tyler Smith: The owner is incredibly rude. I manage a team of 9 people and decided to take my team out to lunch. Immediately the owner told me that each individual is required to order food because “he’s running a business” which was standoffish, but I do understand the concept. However this was just the initial interaction. He then harassed one of my employees because she received a phone call, so she excused herself to the restroom to take the call. She was just outside the restroom, and he told her she could either leave or get off her phone. Next, another one of our team’s managers brought his team in around the same time as me, (we didn’t plan to all be there at once it just happened to be where we both decided to go), and one of our employees was sitting in the aisle where he was seated by the owner. His chair was slightly farther out than the owners liking, so the owner physically pushed our employees chair forward with him in it, and told him that he can either sit where he was moved or he can leave. The owner is extremely rude as I stated before, which is unfortunate because we had never had a problem before today. Any other time our teams have gone here we had excellent experiences, great food and service, and we always make sure to tip the servers generously since we understand coming in a large group is taxing on the staff. However, after today’s experience none of our employees will dine there again. That all being said, the servers are fantastic people, and the food is good, so as long as you’re okay with the owner bullying you around, everything else is fine.
