5 /5 Garland Dunomes: Midtown Smokehouse in Southfield exceeded my expectations with its incredible smoked wings, ribs, and brisket. As someone from Louisiana who travels extensively and has tasted barbecue in Texas, Memphis, and Kansas City, I can confidently say the food here stands up to the best. I also enjoyed the mac and cheese and greens. While the coleslaw wasnt the sweet style Im used to, it was still tasty.
Beyond the delicious food, the owner (Mark) and staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine desire to please customers, which was second to none. I will make Midtown Smokehouse my first stop for a meal every time I return to Southfield. My only minor wish is for dine-in availability, but I understand the current location may not permit it, which is a positive sign of growth. I wish Mark and his team all the best and hope for their continued success.
