1 /5 Nathan Asmaro: Horrible experience — I will never sign up or come back to this gym again. The manager with a beard, I believe his name is Aaron, has absolutely no customer service skills.
I walked in and mentioned that I hadn’t been to this gym in a couple of years because I had moved out of the area. Now that I’ve moved back, I wanted to see if things had improved, so I signed up for a 1-day trial. Instead of welcoming me back, he immediately said I had to pay $15.99 and that the trial was “meant for new users and not to be abused.”
I explained that I had cancelled my membership because I moved and simply wanted to try the gym for a day before committing again. His response was dismissive — he just said, “What do you want to do?” At that point, I asked for my ID back and walked out.
This was a terrible customer service experience. Whoever hired this manager is costing the gym potential members. I genuinely intended to sign up again, but after this encounter, I wouldn’t even consider it. It was never about the $15.99 — it was about how poorly the situation was handled.
