4 /5 Hannah Taplin: I started going to RedWater Fitness Watermark when I had issues with another gym membership this past spring. While it was meant to temporary, I have thoroughly enjoyed my membership. I love the location and overlooking the golf course. If you get here early enough in the morning, there is a beautiful view of the sunrise.
There is plenty of free weights, two squat racks, a smith machine, a cable machine, cardio equipment, and two rooms for spinning and HIIT exercises. Occasionally, the gym has been a busy when I have been there but most of the time, it is either completely empty or only has about 5 people max, including myself.
The gym has cubbies by the front door and water fountain as well as a full locker room and showers. Out of all the gyms I have been to, it is by far the best.
The only reason I am knocking down a star is the availability of machines. There are about ten of them, split evenly between upper and lower body. The weights are not always consistent and can be limited to those who are more advanced in their weight training journey. I do wish that more gyms would get a real leg press or a hack squat rather than a horizontal leg press to get more of a quad workout.
Overall, it has been a great experience to be a member at this gym!
