Neal Bakshi How this place got 4.4 stars is beyond me. The food is delicious (although a tad pricy), the service is highly attentive and top notch, and the atmosphere is nice and clean. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not that busy. The decor is nice and the bathrooms are clean. The small plates all look so good, but we went with the brussel sprouts and feta which we would absolutely order again. The former better than the latter in my opinion. The salmon entree was perfect and has we only ordered these 3 dishes, we would’ve been completely satiated. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs however and we got the vegan paella as well, which we mostly ended up taking home. This place is a great spot for a date night, night out with friends, or other upscale but not too fancy dinner. Great food and truly stand out service.

Juan Ortiz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Palm Palace is a hidden gem of hospitality! We came in just expecting a good meal, but we walked out with an experience. Hoda, our server, turned dinner into something special. She patiently walked us through the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed—as if we were guests, not just customers. Delicious food. Beautiful atmosphere. And service with heart. Thank you, Palm Palace—and especially Hoda—for making our evening memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Peter Willcome Great atmosphere here at Frita Batidos. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moves quick. We went here with some local friends who highly recommended. The burger was very flavorful. I had to eat it with a fork and a knife. The staff does a good job of making things efficient.

Yerlin A. Mencia I had a great experience at The Gandy Dancer. The vibe was excellent, I loved the historic train station atmosphere. They also have a really impressive selection of mocktails, which I appreciated. For food, I ordered the mango shrimp and steak, and both were full of amazing flavor, everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Our server was super nice, attentive, and made the experience even better. I went on a Wednesday around 8 PM, and it was pretty empty, which was honestly perfect. There was plenty of parking available and no rush or crowd. Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

Peter Hoffmeyer Took my Parents here to celebrate my Dad’s Birthday and I couldn’t be happier about my restaurant choice! Decided since we are German to try a real German Restaurant. Ironically my Dad says’ “I always wanted to try a real German Restaurant”. I ordered the Metzger’s Wurst Platter. It had a white sausage Bratwurst and Mettwurst. Both were delicious! For dinner I had the Zwiebelrostbraten. It’s a Prime Rib covered in brown gravy and fried onions. My sides were the German Fried Potatoes and the Zuchini. To start the Prime Rib was a generation portion and oh so delicious. The Fried Potatoes were the BEST I’ve ever had. I make some pretty good o es but this was way better. It had such a great buttery flavor. The Zuchini was very good as well. For desert I had the Apple Strudel with Ice Cream and Whipped Cream. This was outstanding as well! My Dad had the German Meat Patties with Mashed Potatoes and Cottage Cheese. Looked like a version of Salisbury Steak. My Mom got the Krautrouladen, which is Cabbage Roll stuffed with Ground Beef, Rice, and Spices along with Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw. She said they were the best Mashed Potatoes she’s ever had in a restaurant. The decor was amazing with numerous Coo coo Clocks and Steins to look at! By the restrooms there are many historical articles about the family. I only wish I had the time to read them all! The staff was very friendly and great! Kevin was our server and was great! The owner, John, greeted us and we also met him before we left and was able to tell him how great our visit was!!! I DEFINITELY will he back and bringing more people with me!!!!!

A Blach My bestie and I had an awesome experience yesterday. We went to the Black Salt Bar in Hamtramick. It is a bar where they have paired cocktails and magick spells as well as tarot and medium readings. They have many other craft cocktails not associated with spells as well, if thats not your thing. We both got a 15 minute tarot and channeling readings. Rachel did an excellent job and was able to bring clarity and insight to both of us in our readings. Highly recommend! It was a great time and highly recommended.

Rachel Little I cannot recommend enough. Elegant & delicious. The feta spread is a must!! And the tempura squash was exquisite. I could have had that as my dinner & been satisfied. It was perfect.

Nathan Bailey I come here every Sunday for the breakfast special since the parking lot across the street is free on Sunday. This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor; service is always very friendly and fast, the food is very tasty, and I love all the stickers. I’m so happy that we have this 24/7 diner in town.

Gavin West Such a unique establishment with a friendly staff, unique set-up, and delicious food that is one of a kind. The bite of the Salmon belly and the octopus fritters were on a whole different level. We will definitely be back soon to try the other dishes!

Marsha Bogardus Been coming here for 35 years and it just gets better & better. I love the fall seasonal items, its my fave time to dine. Last night I had a special fall spaghetti with pistachio pesto, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach & grilled chicken and an apple & fig salad that were both DELISH!

Bob I love this restaurant. The wait staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The seafood is fresh daily. One of had the fish and chips. The fresh was crispy let not greasy. One of us had the blackened Sword Fish, with smashed sweet potatoes. It was my daughters first time eating Swordfish. She wasnt going to order it, she normally gets the blackened Salmon. The waiter Sean did a great job explaining the taste and textured. She order it and absolutely loved it. She isnt much on sweet potatoes, but really enjoyed eating that combination together. I had the house dinner specials which included a lobster tail grilled scallops and grilled shrimp. Asparagus and mashed potatoes with lemon onion. The lobster was excellent. The shrimp and scallops with the seasoning they used while grilling were how would one say. TO DIE FOR. Best grilled scallops and shrimp combination Ive ever eaten. The atmosphere was terrific. Great place for friends to dine together. Would make a wonderful impression for a first date. The pricing I believe was very reasonable. Most dinners with a coffee or soda will be $30-40. Combined the atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and amazing food its woth every penny. I have been here twice in the last 4-6 weeks If you like fresh seafood this is a must visit.

Vinny Sanchez always amazing, always delicious! we always get the chicken/basic pho & its soooooo good every time. the aromatic broth gets a bit overwhelming, but if you add the limes they give you its a lot better :) great portions as well! its very filling & we usually have some left over. weve only tried the pho, but im sure their other options are great! they offer fried garlic bits to add to the pho!! I highly suggest adding them :p

aaron grotas This is a new restaurant in Ann Arbor. They have very yummy paella as well as great everything we got was fantastic. The paella had a lot of good flavor and crispy. The seafood could’ve been flavored a little more but the rice had such good texture flavor. I will definitely come back. We did not get dessert, but the churros looked amazing Excellent, friendly service We were in a hurry and they took care of us right away. If you’re visiting U of M this place is definitely worth it!
